Elephant Pom Pom Kit
You will need:
- 1 large grey pom pom
- 1 medium grey pom pom
- 4 small grey pom poms
- 1 piece of grey foam
- 2 pieces of grey pipe cleaner
- 2 wiggle eyes
Instructions
- Using the template, cut out the ears from the piece of foam
- Glue the medium pom pom to the ears to form the head.
- Stick the wiggle eyes to the head.
- Twist the large piece of pipe cleaner around a pencil to form a coil for the nose and glue to the front of the head just below the eyes.
- Glue the head piece to the large pom pom.
- Glue the 4 small pom poms to the body to form the legs.
- Curl the small piece of pipe cleaner slightly to form the tail and glue to the back of the body.

Flying Saucer
You will need:
- Piece of coloured foam or card
- Shiny gems or stickers for decoration
- Piece of sticky magnet
Instructions
- Cut a flying saucer shape from your piece of foam or card.
- Decorate using your shiny gems or stickers.
- Stick the piece of magnet to the back and you are ready to display on your fridge.

Fairy Wand
You will need:
- Coloured plastic straw
- Small piece of craft foam or coloured card
- Some shiny bits or stickers to decorate
- 2 small pieces of curling ribbon (the plastic kind you find in card shops)
Instructions
- Cut a star shape from your piece of foam or card.
- Decorate using your chosen shiny bits or stickers.
- Glue your curling ribbon to the bottom of the star at the back so as to hide the glue.
- Once dry, glue the star to the end of your straw. Once dry your little one is ready to create some magic.
This would make a great craft for keeping those little ones busy at a themed craft party.
I find that a “Cool Melt” glue gun is ideal for this project. As this type of glue gun does not get as hot as a normal one, with a little supervision it is ideal for kids to use. You can buy a “Cool Melt” glue gun complete with glue sticks from www.one-stop-party.co.uk
Edna the Emu Pom Pom
You will need:
- 1 large pom pom
- 1 small pom pom
- 1 pipe cleaner
- 2 wiggle eyes
- Orange foam for beak
Instructions
- Cut a piece of pipe cleaner 5cm long to use for the neck. Cut the remainder of the pipe cleaner in half for the legs.
- Shape the pipe cleaner to form the feet and knees as per the picture.
- Glue the two legs to the large pom pom and allow to dry.
- Glue the neck to the small pom pom and allow to dry.
- Using the orange foam, cut a small piece for the beak and glue to the head.
- Glue the two eyes on to the head just above the beak.
- Glue the head and neck to the body and allow to dry.
- Glue the feather to the back of the bird and you’re now ready to display.
Any colour pom pom and pipe cleaner works well.

Butterfly Bookmark
You will need:
- Coloured lolly stick
- Piece of coloured foam
- Small piece of pipe cleaner
- Shiny gems to decorate
- Piece of different coloured foam or large gem for body
Instructions
- Cut a butterfly shape from your piece of foam.
- Affix it to one end of your lolly stick.
- Cut your pipe cleaner into two small pieces and affix to the butterfly for the antenna.
- Affix your shiny gems to decorate the wings.
- Cut out the body from your extra piece of foam and affix to the butterfly. If you have a large gem affix this to the body instead.

Butterfly Magnets
You will need:
- Piece of coloured foam
- Small piece of pipe cleaner
- 3 pom poms
- Additional decorations
- Piece of sticky magnet
Instructions
- Cut out a butterfly shape from your piece of foam.
- Cut your pipe cleaner into two pieces of the same size.
- Affix the pipe cleaner to the middle of the body as per the picture for the antenna.
- Affix the pom poms to the middle of the butterfly for the body.
- Decorate your butterfly using whatever decorations you may have. Stickers, acrylic gems always look good.
Don’t forget that butterflies have the same decoration on both wings.
