Hot Potato
This is a a bit like pass the parcel but you use a potato instead. The idea of the game is not to be left with the potato when the music stops. Last guest in the game is the winner.
Materials Needed:
- Potato
- Music
- Prize
- Helper to control music
Instructions
- Sit all guests in a circle ready to start.
- Choose a guest to start the game. To save arguments you could always start with the Birthday Boy/Girl.
- While the helper is not looking, the potato is passed from guest to guest while the music is playing.
- The helper will stop the music and the guest who is holding the potato is out of the game.
- The game continues until you have one guest left and they are the winner.
